Villa Gaia

Originally built as bungalows for their artists, Gaia Villas integrate art with life, luxury on the banks of a river between a gallery and a jungle gorge. The Italian-Balinese fusion architecture includes marble floors and grass "alang alang" roofs, two shared living areas and a swimming pool with sun-lounge. There are only three villas, each unique, and if you happen to be there during an opening, chances are good that the artist will be staying in one.

Below the pool, overlooking the gorge, is the Spa at Gaia Villas, where one of the most skilled masseuses in Bali can ease your stress with a Balinese, European, or Aromatherapy massage, smooth out long-held knots with acupressure, reflexology and shiatsu, or just pamper you with a Balinese lulur, boreh, coconut, or sea-salt and cucumber scrub, followed by a bath in yoghurt (or milk) and flowers.

The villas include AC, hot & cold water, mini bar, phone, safety-deposit boxes, internet connection, laundry service, daily maid service, 24-hour security, complimentary breakfast, massage in the spa or in your room, fax service, and free transport in Ubud area (shuttle service) and from/to the airport.

Villa # 1 is located near the main living area, with large glass doors that open up to the swimming pool. The bathroom includes his and her basins, indoor and outdoor showers, and a sunken stone bathtub that overlooks the gardens.

Villa # 2 has large glass doors that open up to a semi-private garden area. The bedroom has an upstairs mezzanine with an additional standard bed ideal for children - enough sleeping space for three adults, or two adults and two children. The bathroom has an indoor shower and an outdoor bathtub.

Villa # 3 is the most romantic of the three: it sits at the far end of the property in the middle of the forest, overlooking a creek, with windows throughout, a Japanese-style bedroom and a stone shower bathroom.

VILLA SERVICES:
In the morning, our gourmet restaurant will serve you a complimentary breakfast in your villa. It is also available for dining or room/poolside service from 9 AM to 10 PM.

Also available are laundry service, daily maid service, 24-hour security, massage in our spa or in your room, fax service, and free return shuttle service (10 AM to 4 PM). We also provide free transportation to or from the airport, and can arrange car and motorbike rentals for your convenience.
